Asus Android smartphones user’s are either going to be happy or upset with this one. All Asus smartphones are going to have an ad-blocker pre-installed. This is not the part that users will be upset over, though. Forbes is now the latest company to prevent users from viewing their page with an ad-blocker enabled. So, if you connect the dots, Forbes will not be able to be viewed on the Asus smartphone. Depending on how much you read Forbes, will factor in if you are a little upset by this.

ASUS ANDROID SMARTPHONES WILL HAVE PRE-INSTALLED AD BLOCKER

The company Asus actually teamed up with Eyeo GMBH to be able to provide all of their phones with Adblock Plus installed. The CRO of Eyeo GMBH stated how excited the company was to join forces with Asus to do this. Adblock Plus is a very convenient extension because it prevents users from being overloaded with never ending ads. Now, it will still let legitimate advertisements through, but it stops the mind-numbing ads.

FORBES IS DISABLING ALL AD-BLOCKERS

Forbes is an online publishing company, and now they will not allow ad-blockers to be enabled. However, they do promise that there will not be an outrageous amount of ads. Forbes is not the first company to do so. Many companies in the past have decided to prevent users from using ad-blockers. Now, it is extremely easy to disable Adblock Plus on a single website. However, that is when the user installs it.

BECAUSE OF THIS, FORBES CAN NOT BE VIEWED ON THE ASUS

Once you combine these two stories together, you realize that Forbes is not going to be able to be viewed on the Asus smartphone. This is really not a big deal unless you are a frequent reader on Forbes. If this is the case, then this news might really upset you.

THIS IS STILL GOOD FOR ASUS ANDROID SMARTPHONES USER’S

Companies make a lot of their money due to advertisements. Ads are great for companies, but they are a hassle for people. So, this is a good news for all of the Asus Android smartphone users. It should also be noted that Adblock Plus is an excellent ad-blocking software. I have been using it for around one year now and it has been fantastic.

The new content ad blocker named Focus by Firefox will make ad-providers upset, but will make users extremely happy. Surfing the web without an ad blocker can be one of the most annoying experiences anyone can ever have. Mozilla announced that Focus will be available for Safari users on the iOS 9.

FOCUS BY FIREFOX TO BLOCK ADS

Mozilla has stated that this ad blocker will be a little different than other one’s. They stated that it will indeed block ads. As well as blocking certain social media content. However, Mozilla stated they were focusing on making Focus transparent with how the content is created. They state that not many ad blockers on the market work like that. Blocking ads on the internet will also no doubt improve the overall performance. This is because when ads are running in the background it slows down an operating system.

FOCUS BY FIREFOX NOT AVAILABLE FOR FIREFOX FOR IOS

Although Mozilla made this ad blocker, it is still not available for their Firefox for the iOS. They say that it is not because of Apple. Apple decided to have content blocking unavailable for any third party browsers. The Vice President of Mozilla, however, commented and said that they are working on resolving this and making it available for the iOS. So, because of this, they state that this new content blocker only works with Safari.

FOCUS BY FIREFOX IS AWESOME FOR USERS

As mentioned earlier, this is something that if you do not have you need to get. If you surf the web without ads being blocked, then you have a lot of patience. Ad blockers are best friends for anybody who loves to surf the web. Obviously, ad-providers are not to fond of this, but ads are annoying and it is hard to deny that.
