New Porsche is the Most Space Looking Car Ever - http://clapway.com/2015/12/07/new-porsche-is-the-most-space-looking-car-ever-123

The 911 line of Porsche cars is among the most notable, going from a car that’s meant to be on racetracks to a beautiful road running machine. One thing that has been painfully obvious in the evolution of the car, though, is that despite changing a lot on the inside, the outside look of the car has always been the same. That is until Khashayar Jenaby designed the Porsche 911 Solo.

Bringing the Future of Cars to Life

The 911 Solo, only a concept right now, combines the Porsche Moby Dick Group 5 racer and the 935 line of racing cars. The cockpit is a single seater with aerodynamic flaps on its rear fenders, which burst out at braking for stability. The headlamps are directly integrated into the car’s front spoiler.

The concept was designed as part of a student course hosted by the carmaker, and at the end of the term, Khashayar Jenaby’s was chosen to become a full-scale model. Not only because it featured the best in futuristic specs, but because it could be the road Porsche embarks on in the future.

The Future of the Carmaker Isn’t So Certain

With the latest scandal courtesy of Porsche’s parent company, Volkswagen, it’s likely that the automakers will do everything in their power to recover customer trust. Volkswagen was caught with software in certain models of their diesel cars to be cheating emissions tests. This was discovered by US authorities, and between recalls and repairs, the scandal is costing the company millions.

Facing this kind of adversity, it’s entirely possible that Porsche goes through great lengths for their next models. The Porsche 911 Solo might just be brought to life. It’s not certain what happens to these full-scale models if they ever get considered to be made or not, but it would be a great glimpse onto the future.

Emissions Scandal is Over - Volkswagen Brings Out The New Electric Porsche - http://clapway.com/2015/12/04/volkswagen-brings-out-the-new-electric-porsche123/

Volkswagen is making a $1 billion euro investment to manufacture the first ever all-electric sports car, creating more than 1,000 jobs for Zuffenhausen in Germany. The model, tentatively named Missio E, will be completely battery powered.

Volkswagen Making Up for Emissions Scandal

The new Mission E car could be an effort to dissuade the fact that Volkswagen is facing huge fees and recalls for their emissions test scandal. It so, it’s on the right track. The plan is to make the next generation of the Phaeton electric, as well as to expand the MQB modular production platform to focus on electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.

The emissions scandal, which revealed that Volkswagen diesel models were giving false fossil fuel emissions readings, is costing the carmaker $7.3 billion. Audi is also affected by this, and was even forced to change the line up of executives to recoup. This is a pivotal time for Volkswagen and all of its flagship companies, as it isn’t likely that the car maker will recover sales immediately.

New Porche Mission E Will Have Over 600 Horsepower

The new Porche, Volkswagen declared, will have a range over 310 miles in an effort to bring the brand to the future. The Zuffenhausen plant and body shop will be extended in order to accommodate Mission E manufacturing. Other tasks will be handled by Porche’s development center in Weissach.

The Mission E will be the first of its kind, and an all electric sports car may be an attractive buy for anyone in the clean energy market. It’ll also make for excellent competition for plug-in hybrids and all electrics currently on the road. Despite the Volkswagen scandal, a lot of consumers trust in the brand Porche and on its team, regardless of who their parent company is. Hopefully, Audi will be able to bring something as enticing, and Volkswagen themselves can join in to make one collective effort to bounce back from the scandal.
