Meanwhile ARK: Survival Evolved Surpasses 1 Million Downloads
ARK: Survival Evolved is shaking the world of PC survival games. In less than a week, the game got over 1 million downloads, and hit 200,000 real days of gamer survival. This title faces gamers against the danger of dinosaurs and other great threats of the Jurassic period. It’s the only large-scale multiplayer survival game currently available on consoles, which is probably why there are more players on Xbox One than on PC.
The game doesn’t launch for all other platforms until June of 2016, so the developers are looking to use this time to get as much feedback as possible. That way, once the game is released for all formats, it will be the best game it can be. Support for split screen playing is already in the works, as well as gamepad customization and UI improvements. The new updates will also feature adjustments to game modes, better balancing and new content that is also being featured in the PC version of the game. Gamers are encouraged to contact the developers on all social media outlets and give them feedback, as those changes could be featured in the official launch in June.
