North Korea and ISIS On the Same Page On Military Technology - http://clapway.com/2016/01/10/north-korea-and-isis-on-the-same-page-with-military-technology-123/

As a show power and force, a U.S. B-52 bomber flew over the border of North Korea and South Korea in response to the allegedly successful nuclear test in Pyongyang. The bomber is capable of carrying and delivering nuclear weapons. It was perceived as a threat to the North. Kim Jong Un has been implementing measures that are oddly like ISIS techniques when it comes to military technology and politics.

Did North Korea Actually Have A Successful H-Bomb Test?

Ever since news broke out about this test, the world has gotten a little more tense. South Korean intelligence has their doubts about the truth behind the statements. Nevertheless, a South Korean F-15 bomber and an American F-16 joined the display of force. All of the planes returned to the Guam base after the flight.

North Korea Military Technology Does Not Threaten The US

Regardless of the meaning of the demonstration, the United States means to clarify their alliance with South Korea and Japan. The North Korean announcement is a clear violation of the nation’s international obligations. The US did only what it had to retaliate. As for North Korea, they claim that the tests were conducted to ensure the safety of the nation.

This is classic North Korean political media at its best. Whether or not the test was actually carried out, this is meant to be a test to claim the loyalty of more people. The world is awfully familiar with this kind of tactic, most recently with ISIS.

ISIS Uses The Same Tactics as North Korea to Rally People

The Islamic State is notorious for using criticism as a tool to gain support from more people. This makes ISIS leaders seem like they are defending jihad rather than propagating violence and terrorism. The organization takes responsibility for many attacks, though they didn’t always conduct them. The hate that comes after taking responsibility is what they use to recruit more people.

North Korea and ISIS vs. The World

The response from the US, South Korea and Japan should be taken very seriously. When it comes to nuclear weapons, the world is aware of what the United States can do. ISIS is a global enemy because it threatens the lives of people across every continent. North Korea is no different.

North Korean Nuclear Bomb to Protect The Country’s Sovereignty - http://clapway.com/2015/12/10/north-korean-nuclear-bomb-to-protect-the-countrys-sovereignity123/

North Korea has released a hint saying that they have a North Korean nuclear bomb prepared to defend the country and the dignity of the Republic. If this is true, then it is a very dangerous move in regards to North Korean nuclear power.

North Korean Nuclear Bomb

North Korea Has Tested Three Atomic Bombs, But a Hydrogen Bomb is More Powerful

There are mixed responses to the claim made by Kim Jong Un. Some are calling this a bluff to give the leader a more firm standing as the leader of the country. Experts are saying that North Korea doesn’t even have the capacity to make a hydrogen bomb, and there are factors that point that this is just a political ploy for Kim Jong Un to be taken more seriously.

North Korean Nuclear Bomb Announcement Did Not Come from National Defense Commission

Since Kim Jong Un made the announcement himself, something that happens only very rarely, experts believe that this is just an attempt to hype up the three generation dictatorship that has ruled the country.

There is also a disparity between the Korean version of the announcement and the English one. The Korean recount talks about Kim Il Sung’s gun fire being heard 70 years ago, and that the nation is now able to make the boom of a hydrogen or atomic bomb. This could mean that weapons in the country have been upgraded, but not necessarily that they have an H-bomb prepared to shoot.

North Korea Doesn’t Have the Science to Make A Hydrogen Bomb

Historically known to be ancient in terms of science and technology, North Korea has very little chances of developing a successful h-bomb and keep it under wraps. Though the country is very notably secretive, there’s just no way they could make the kind of scientific breakthroughs required to build a real threat in terms of nuclear weapons. South Korean intelligence agents have also fed this theory since they have no indication that such weaponry has been developed.

North Korea is Irritated; Cambridge Pixel gave New Radar Trackers to South Korea - http://clapway.com/2015/12/09/north-korea-is-irritated-cambridge-pixel-gave-new-radar-trackers-to-south-korea/

South Korea just got an upgrade from Cambridge Pixel. The company has stated that they are going to be supplying the Hanwha Thales Corporation with their top of the line radar trackers. This is great news for the HTC, but North Korea sure did get the wrong end of the stick didn’t they?

CAMBRIDGE PIXEL TO ADD RADAR TRACKERS TO AIR FORCE

Cambridge Pixel is going to be producing their radar display systems and their tracking displays to the Republic of Korea Air Force aircraft’s. The HTC selected them because they knew that they were the perfect company to do what they wanted. They stated that they wanted a company that would not break their bank and offer a lot of flexibility. Also, given that Cambridge Pixel is an award winning developer, they knew only the best radar trackers would be implemented in their system.

CAMBRIDGE PIXEL RADAR FEATURES

The company mentions how the technology that they gave the HTC will provide automatic tracking from the primary radar sensor. They mention how the tracker will process the intended target via a polar format radar video. This will then allow the users in the aircraft to see any positional and motion updates. Basically, they state that their technology will provide track fusion and an elite tracking radar system.

NORTH KOREA GET’S THE SHORT END OF THE STICK

This is great for HTC, Cambridge Pixel, and South Korea. However, how about a little up north in North Korea? The air force up there certainly did not get the same upgrade in their aircraft’s system. This is nothing new for North Korean people, however, given that South Korea is more wealthy and advanced than them. It probably would have been difficult for North Korea to settle a deal with Cambridge Pixel. However, that does not mean that this probably irritates them to see South Korea get more advanced.

North Korea is Irritated; Cambridge Pixel gave New Radar Trackers to South Korea

This week, #SouthKorea sought a more direct line of propaganda through which to protest its #NorthKorea and its extremist regime. Enter #K-pop. - http://clapway.com/2015/08/29/south-korea-k-pop-north-korean-border-101/

Propaganda is a very versatile tool when it comes to politics, and it has been used in many different ways through the ages. Theoretical texts have been published, posters printed, films made and broadcast. In recent years, propaganda comes in many more diversified forms with the rise of the Internet and social media, wherein the spread of texts, posters, comics, films and the like are even more widespread and are guaranteed to reach people all over the globe.

This week, South Korea was seeking a more direct line of propaganda through which to protest its Northern neighbor and its extremist regime.

That’d be through their popular music.

WHAT IS K-POP?

Korean pop music became a national phenomenon during the 1990s, when dozens of groups started springing up with new takes on the music of the time, mixing in hip-hop with Western popular music and a hint of soulful R&B. It has since then developed an entirely new sub-genre of music and gained quite a name for itself in world music with its distinctive look, feel and method of training.

Many of South Korea’s pop acts have been at the very top of music charts both in their homeland, in Japan and throughout all of Asia, even going as far as topping the Billboard World Album Chart, such as boy group EXO and girl group 2ne1.

WHAT DID SOUTH KOREA PLAY FOR NORTH KOREA?

The South Korean border was reported to have been playing their pop music through loudspeakers directed at the North this week, alongside very vocal protest against the Northern Leader’s rule and his extremist ideals. This is not a new method of protest, since the DMZ was reported to have played girl group 4minute’s song “Hit Your Heart” after the North had fired a torpedo in 2010. This time around, songs by national sensation Girls Generation were played, as well as from hip-hop group Big Bang and icon IU.

WHY PROVOKE THE NORTH?

The reasons why the South is doing this are layered. Firstly, the speakers on the South Korean side of the demilitarized zone are high-tech, and can be heard very clearly by the Northern side, as if wanting to say that their technology is far more advanced and that the South has managed to move forward while the North has remained at a standstill. Humor seems to also be part of the equation, where lyrics of the songs played are meant to reflect the strength and perseverance that the South will keep against the North through any threat.

THE NORTH’S RESPONSE

The North reacted to this altercation with a threat to turn Seoul into a “sea of flames”, and the UN eventually had to intervene to ameliorate the already fragile state of the two countries’ relationships. After a forty-hour-long talk, both sides finally compromised and the tensions settled.
