Tesla, BMW and Ford Team Up With Spotify - http://clapway.com/2015/12/22/tesla-bmw-and-ford-team-up-with-spotify-123/

Tesla is really going all out for customer satisfaction, as their cars will now feature a unique Spotify Premium account completely and absolutely free of charge. Tesla will be paying for all costs for every Model S and Model X car getting the upgrade. In the past, Tesla had an arrangement with Rdio, but the company recently fell through the cracks. Now Elon Musk’s venture has inked a deal with music streaming giant Spotify.

Tesla, BMW and Ford

Spotify Premium is Only Available for Tesla Drivers in Europe, Australia and Hong Kong

All new Tesla owners in these regions will have their own Spotify car account. There’s no need for drivers to upgrade their existing accounts. Spotify Premium can be completely controlled from the Tesla models’ huge touchscreens.

Spotify is Joining Hands with Other Car Makers Like Ford and BMW

It looks like the streaming service is looking to collaborate with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The company has announced partnerships with Ford and BMW/Mini. The deal with Tesla is extra special, though, since it is the only one that includes unlimited Spotify Premium with absolutely no data charges, ever.

Spotify also has a partnership with Uber, and they have plans for car system integration ventures in the near future. The company has shared that they have many exciting announcements in regards to their movements to the automotive industry.

Will Spotify Also Come in the Apple Car?

If and when Apple release their much rumored Apple Car, it will likely come with free Apple Music or with an upgrade to existing user accounts. Apple is not the kind of company to actively neglect exclusivity. The truth is Spotify is the hottest streaming service on the market right now, and there are many companies milking on that success.

As soon as the Apple Car is out, though, it’s probably game over. Apple Music might actually start shipping out to cars that already feature Apple CarPlay to bring in more Apple Music users to the table.

Does this Indicate Next Level Popularity?

With these developments, is it the end of the line for other mobile streaming services like Songza, Pandora, SoundCloud and Hype Machine? It is certainly possible that this upgrade to car integration is what shows that Spotify was destined to become overwhelmingly popular. Apple Music users come half from loyalty and half because of its accessibility, but Spotify has become a great competitor.

Will Other Streaming Services Hit Outside Industries?

Other music streaming services may branch out to other industries, but the automotive world is changing. This is a great time to bring in music streaming services. Most people opt for plugging in their phones to their cars as opposed to listening to the radio, or they have services like SiriusXM to make their car rides musically enjoyable. Radio is pretty much dead unless people are looking for a break from their own music libraries.Radio is pretty much dead unless people are looking for a break from their own music libraries. The truth is there is more demand for AUX cables for cars than there is for better radio stations.

Radio is Dying in America

Radio is pretty much dead unless people are looking for a break from their own music libraries. The truth is there is more demand for AUX cables for cars than there is for better radio stations. Everything that people could possibly be looking for is at the tap of their smartphone screen and that is not about to change. All the radio can do is accommodate. Services like iTunes Radio and Spotify Radio give people the feeling of listening to the radio, so what’s the use of listening to the real thing?

Apple Car May Easily Beat Google Car and Tesla in 2019, It’s Official  - http://clapway.com/2015/12/21/apple-car-may-easily-beat-google-car-and-tesla-in-2019-123/

Apple has basically confirmed that they’re entering the automobile industry. The project has apparently been in the works for a year, and though it hasn’t been 100% confirmed, we may see the Apple Car in the market by 2019.

Apple Car Clapway

Apple Has More Secrets than the CIA

The company is notorious for keeping things secret, and for patenting nearly everything. Apple is allegedly moving for the car making industry in the next few years, and there is strong belief that they may be working on an electric car.

The company has been hiring engineers that specialize in autonomous driving, battery technology and the auto industry. These employees number in the hundreds. Sources have declared that the first Apple Car will be launching in 2019, as per Steve Jobs’ vision. Analysts have even attached a price tag to the project, starting at around $55,000 and going up to $100,000.

The Company Even Met with the California DMV

Apple was even reported to have met with the California Department of Motor Vehicles to discuss regulations for testing self-driving cars. The DMV has granted permission for self-driving car testing to about twelve companies. Just last week, the DMV declared that all self-driving cars must have a licensed human driver behind the wheel during tests.

Apple Car Will Thwart Competition

This move is obviously to tease the competition. Many car makers are getting into the smart car business. Volvo, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and others are making moves to develop autonomous cars or cars with autonomous features. Nissan and other Asian car makers are good contenders to make cars efficient and affordable, but a self-driving car out of Apple will bring excitement to many. It’s possible it may even outdo the hype that Tesla usually brings with their cars.

Apple CEO Admits to Keeping Money Abroad

Tim Cook revealed in an interview that Apple kept more than $100 billion outside the United States. After all, more than half of Apple’s revenue comes from abroad, so it would make very little sense to bring it over to the US and have to pay taxes.

It’s only to be expected from Apple since they handle a significant amount of capital all over the world. The company will surely continue to expand as they dabble on all the most relevant industries of the time. Apple will likely bring a very elegant car to the market, different from all others. It’s likely to be closer to a luxury car than other models out of Google. The technology has possibly been in development since Steve Jobs was CEO, so it’s no surprise that they’ve announced such a close release date.

New Apple Offices Will Be Built Within the Next Few Years

The new Apple HQ will cost $5 billion to build. The structure has the look of a UFO, and will transform the Cupertino space into a wealth of green and high-tech architecture to show the true face of Apple.

Google Car

The Cats Will Slowly Get Out of the Bag

More information about the new headquarters and the new Apple Car will continue to roll out as time goes by. Truly enough, Apple probably keeps the best secrets in all of Silicon Valley, maybe even in all of the US. They will only unveil choice details every now and then. Nevertheless, the public is more than excited to see what Apple will bring to the table. Most likely, they’ll be developing a car that will be sold in masses. Their intention seems to be very different from Google’s approach, which is more along the lines of providing public transportation. Knowing Apple, they’ll develop a private car roster that will take clients wherever they need to go. This will probably cost a pretty penny, too.

Only time will tell what the next step for Apple will be. They have a lot on their hands, and it will all likely succeed. Tim Cook and Apple Inc will not rest until our phones, watches, laptops, tablets and even cars have the Apple branding.

Apple Car Could Beat Out Google Self-Driving Car - http://clapway.com/2015/11/05/apple-car-could-beat-out-google-self-driving-car123/

Steve Jobs considered the concept of an Apple Car as early as 2008, and just because it couldn’t happen in his lifetime, it doesn’t mean it won’t. With the release of Google’s self driving car, and rumors of Apple rolling out an electric car as early as 2019, it’s fair to pose the question: If Jobs had started working on the Apple Car project, would it be better than Google’s Self Driving Car, the Tesla, or even Uber today?

Jobs apparently planned the design of an iCar’s dashboard and seats after the release of the first iPhone. The project would make it a fueled car, since electric cars were neither attainable nor a trend, much less self-driving ones. Today, however, Apple is rumored to be working on a secret project at a place called “SG5” in Sunnyvale, CA, under the guise of the shell company SixtyEight Research to develop the very first Apple Car. Apparently, Jobs’s dreams lay in building TV sets and cameras long before his focus rested on the iPhone.

The secret project is rumored to have a ship date of 2019 for its first electric car project, though it’s not expected to be a self-driving vehicle, courtesy of a team of up to 1,800 people. The project is kept strictly under wraps, and only whispers slip out onto the public, but it’s certain that Apple is working on something to compete against Google’s Self Driving Cars and Tesla at least, if not all related competitors.

Apple Ventures Into Self-Driving Cars: Project Titan Confirmed - http://clapway.com/2015/08/15/apple-ventures-into-self-driving-cars-project-titan-confirmed123/

Self-driving cars are the way of the future. At least, that’s what numerous car companies believe, as Tesla, BMW, Honda, and a few others have been working on and testing out their first driverless car models in order to prepare them for public release. At least one non-auto company seems to also believe that self-driving cars are the way of the future, evidenced by it venturing into that industry and developing its own driverless car model.

The Apple That Falls Far From the Tree

Throughout the decades Apple has been known as a strong and reliable brand for computers, mp3 players, smartphones, and tablets. The innovation of the iPhone led to the smartphone boom in the United States, and the rise of other touch screen devices such as iPod Touch-like mp3 players and tablets. Over the past few years, it has been rumored that the tech giant was looking into expanding its reach into the automotive industry. Thanks to documents that have been obtained by The Guardian, it has been confirmed that Apple is indeed developing a self-driving car. Not only has it been developing one, but it is further along the development stage than anyone had previously thought. The tech giant has reportedly been eyeing a former naval base as the testing ground for its self-driving car, and has even scheduled test runs.

A Naval Base Turned Testing Ground

Apple plans to test out its self-driving car, codenamed Project Titan, at GoMentum Station, a 2,100-acre area near San Francisco that used to be known as the Concord Naval Weapons Station during World War II. It has since been converted into a high security private testing ground for the cars of the future, which use connected vehicle (CV) and autonomous vehicle (AV) technologies. It is guarded around the clock by armed soldiers to keep everything that goes on inside the grounds as secret as possible. The facility contains 20 miles of city streets and highways, and features railway crossings, tunnels, overpasses, and more to simulate real-world driving applications. Confirmation of the super secret Apple car project came after The Guardian obtained documents that show Jack Hall, a program manager at GoMentum Station, writing to Apple engineer Frank Fearon, wanting to postpone a planned tour of the testing facility but also saying that they still wanted to meet in order to keep Apple’s testing schedule moving along.

Apple is Serious About Project Titan

In a world where many other companies are investing prime capital into the development of autonomous cars, it should be no wonder that Apple lauded as one of the top innovating tech companies of today, has decided to venture into the automotive industry. While there were doubts that a computer company would succeed in automotive development, Apple has taken the necessary steps to ensure the success of its super secret self-driving car project. Apple CEO Tim Cook has been meeting with top executives in the automotive industry over the past few months, like Sergio Marchionne of Fiat-Chrysler, to gain more knowledge on the process. The company has also been bringing onto its Project Titan team many automotive experts from well-established companies like Mercedes-Benz and Tesla Motors. As the world continues to change and new trends develop, companies that wish to stay relevant must keep up with those trends. Recent years have shown that the next big trend is going to be self-driving cars, so it’s no wonder that Apple has decided to branch out from handheld devices and desktop computers to begin developing its first motor vehicle.
