%#BigButts are the new sexy and women are getting dangerous #injections to achieve this look.% - http://clapway.com/2015/08/22/i-like-big-butts-and-i-cannot-lie-butt-injections-lead-to-death-101

Big Butts are the new sexy and women are going to extreme lengths to achieve this look. “Last year, a staggering 10,000 buttock augmentation procedures were performed in the United States, which is up 16 percent from 2012,” according to Chanel Park, writer for the Huffington Post. A woman lost her life due to society’s new obsession with big butts this past march. 44 year-old Vinnie Lysander Taylor was charged with murder for giving a woman butt injections that eventually led to her death.

THE SILICONE INJECTION

Taylor was charged with the misuse of medical equipment. “Taylor traveled the country injecting women with silicone that he said would give them larger buttocks,” according to Taylor’s indictment. He used food grade silicone for the procedure which is typically used to make molds to use for food that begin as liquids and solidify. Although the substance is nontoxic for human consumption, it hinders a different affect once injected into the body. “Taylor stored the liquid silicone in plastic bottles that were not labeled nor approved by federal authorities for that purpose. Therefore, the liquid silicone was adulterated and misbranded,” according to federal authorities.

THE ILLEGAL INJECTION BUSINESS

Taylor developed branches of a clothing store named Shuga K’s. He purchased locations in Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. He ordered the silicone from Clearco Products, a Pennsylvania company using the name of his franchise. “Clearco mailed him gallon jugs of the stuff about 180 times, from 2008 to 2014,” said Julie Zauzmer, writer for The Washington Post, Taylor injected seven different women in 2013 and 2014 and a woman injected in a hotel in Capitol Heights, died after the procedure.

THE AFTERMATH

“The person listed as his defense attorney in court records did not respond to a request for comment on Wednesday,” said Zauzmer. Taylor is being held in Maryland on state charges. He is facing sentencing for second-degree murder and a maximum sentence of three years in prison for each of nine counts of receipt of a misbranded and adulterated device for delivery for pay with intent to defraud or mislead.

Diabetics Avoid Daily Injections With New Implantable Pancreas - http://clapway.com/2015/07/02/diabetics-avoid-daily-injections-with-new-implantable-pancreas765/

Are You a Type 1 diabetic? New Implantable Pancreas may help

A study has recently arisen in the ACS journal Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research that suggests that living with Type 1 diabetes may become more tolerable, with the development of a new implantable pancreas that can regularly measure blood sugar and glucose levels, then automatically release insulin as necessary. For all living with Type 1 diabetes, this new advancement in medicine is a game changer.

What does this new implantable pancreas mean?

You know those dreaded necessary evils of pricking yourself with a needle to measure blood sugar every so often? Well with this new pancreas, the need to do so will be gone with the regular measurements and self-dosing. So, the chance to say goodbye to those daily pricks may be coming up soon.

Type 1 diabetes is mostly seen and diagnosed in children and young adults under the age of 20, otherwise known as juvenile diabetes. The statistics for this type show only 5% have it, but those young people’s lives depend on managing diabetes correctly. This development may help with that.

How does this new implantable pancreas work?

This pancreas was designed in mind with taking out the effort and pain of pricking and dosing yourself. Thus, the researches in charge of the study developed an algorithm to measure blood sugar levels, and then based on them calculate your insulin dosage. Said dosage is then delivered without using the needle, and only when it is needed. Computer testing of the new implantable pancreas showed that, using the algorithm in coincidence with the peaking and falling of sugar levels in response to meal times and sleeping at night, the pancreas delivered the insulin and kept the blood sugar at a sufficient level almost eighty percent of the time.

A test on animals will soon be underway to see its efficiency put in practice and tested with a living organism. The study was made possible through funding by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. This new method will also be faster than current methods, and the researchers working on this project will most likely try to achieve that ideal blood sugar level as close to one hundred percent of the time as possible.

Diabetics need to keep an eye on their insulin levels. But we ALL need to monitor our hydration levels to stay healthy and perfectly hydrated. The HidrateMe smart water bottle promises to help do just that.
