Google Serves For The People: Drive Security, Money and Life - http://clapway.com/2015/12/19/google-serves-for-the-people-drive-security-money-and-life/

It appears like Google is trying to make their company a little more secure next year. They have set aside $1 million to fund research into a better drive security. This is referring to the company’s Drive cloud storage device. Also, they recently released their Search Quality Rater’s guide. This guide talks a little about money, life, and what they consider to be a high-quality site worthy of ranking.

GOOGLE PUTS MONEY INTO DRIVE SECURITY

Google stated that keeping their files safe in Google drive is very important to them. The drive security funding was commented on by the company. They said in a blog post that they appreciate all of the security researchers who help them keep their drive security top notch. They state that they will dedicate $1 million to them for extra funding. Also, they have mentioned how they will continue to give anyone who spots an issue $20,000. Now, this issue has to be legitimate enough for the company to pay you. You can not just randomly point out a minor problem and expect $20,000. It must be a legitimate problem with the drive security.

Google Serves For The People: Drive Security, Money and Life

GOOGLE: MONEY AND LIFE

As mentioned earlier, the company released their Search Quality Rater’s guide around a month ago. One of the sections of the document talks about your money or your life pages. The company states how there is a lot of content on the web, but they focus on web pages that can affect people’s money and life. They say these web pages are held at a higher standard than others. They state that these are pages that include factors like financial information, health, and medical information, etc. The point is, the company likes to put people’s money and their life, before anything else.

GOOGLE TALKS ABOUT DESIGN

Looking past money and life, Google also talks about how the design and content positioning does factor into ratings. They say that they want the most important concept of the page to be in plain view of the user. They say this is why mobile optimization is so important. Smartphone screens are not as large as computer screens, so this is extra important for mobile sites. Supplementary content is also talked about by them. They mention how tips on the sidebar or tutorial videos are useful.

GOOGLE TALKS ABOUT MEETING NEEDS

This factor is easily one of the most important. When a user enters something in the search bar, they expect appropriate results to pop up. Let’s say that someone types in if there is any news about the Philadelphia Eagles. If searches come up that are practically verbatim, then a high needs match is met. This one is so key because, as the company points out, your average users need to be satisfied.

THE GOOGLE SEARCH QUALITY RATER

THE GOOGLE SEARCH QUALITY RATER’S GUIDE TAKEAWAYS

There are many key takeaways from this Search Quality Rater’s guide. The big one is the fact that Google prioritizes your money and your life. They hold pages like that in higher standards and it only benefits the people. The second biggest takeaway is when making a site make sure your content is clear and easy to see. Make the main point easy to see and visible to the user right away. This guide is a great reference to look to when asking questions about page rating. It is a very long document, but it is definitely worth the read if you are interested.

Google Search Engine Cares About Money And Life - http://clapway.com/2015/12/18/google-search-engine-cares-about-money-and-life-123/

Google has always been quiet about the algorithm that the Google Search Engine uses. Most of what the people know has been found in small details that Google staff reveal. So when Google released a 160 full Search Quality Rater’s guide last month, the SEO world was more than surprised.

Google Money and Life Clapway

Google Defines What A Quality Site Is

The document specifies what a quality website is, and how it chooses to put it in the Google search engine results. Documents that are highly ranked in the search results, it has to be enlightening, comprehensive and a little challenging.

How to Get Featured on the Google Search Engine

Now that Google has released a full guide on how to get featured on their search engine, we have an exact guideline to manipulate it to our advantage. Google’s main focus? Money and or life.

Inbound links are a known sure shot at getting ranked on Google, but there are other quick ways to get to the top thanks to this guide. According to the document, raters must ‘represent the users’. This means that the search results are authoritative and reliable results. Other important factors in getting well ranked is on-site content and off-site authority.

The Most Important Things: Money and Life

Google is apparently the most concerned with protecting your money and your life. Google will prioritize websites that have content that will protect users’ life and their money. This could be because these are very highly searched topics.

Things that deal with protecting life, such as suicide lines, often take really high priority when it comes to search engines. This is natural. Google is a very humane company despite the fact that it’s everywhere.

The specific pages Google is talking about is the your-money-your-life pages. These are held in very high standards. Your life pages usually deal with health and medical information. Your money pages, usually topped by e-commerce platforms, consumer purchases, and pages dealing with financial or legal information.

YMYL Should Be Part of Your New Strategy

Google loves money. Amazon may be paying some serious capital to top searches in America, but that doesn’t mean other smaller websites can’t get up there, too. Your strategy can implement things that will help users save money or make money. This is another thing that people commonly search for.

The internet has popularized suicide hotlines and fast track ways to make money. While the former is a great resource for many people if they need that kind of help, the latter can be considered spam. What’s the line between giving users helpful suggestions and getting mistaken for a sponsored ad.

Google is Great, But It’s Run by People

Though Google is pretty much everywhere, it’s still run by real people. Real people have real interests, and those interests often revolve around money and safety.

Google has a responsibility after having monopolized a lot of the Western web. As teenagers and young adults basically depend on Google for a lot of knowledge, it’s important to keep their lives and their mental health safe. On the other hand, since a lot of money is coming out of programming, robotics and coding, it’s natural that Google gives you ways to get money. In the same vein, Google is also good at giving you ways to save money.

Make Your Website About Money and Life

Thanks to this guide getting released, it’s possible that many websites will start implementing ‘life’ and ‘money’ sections to their websites. We may even start to see some concept changes. While it may seem sudden, these are two topics that internet can never get enough of. That, and cats.

New Study Finds Key To Happiness; it"s Not Money - http://clapway.com/2015/11/22/new-study-finds-key-to-happiness-its-not-money123/

A new study reveals that happiness could be the result of a build up of small instances of joy that pan out to a general feeling of overall satisfaction. This new research, courtesy of a team of Japanese researchers, will definitley encourage further study into what could now be called the ‘science’ of happiness.

Being Happy Means Vastly Different Things to Different People

While some keep focussed on product possessions, others seek self-help books, meditation and working out to stay positive and happy. This new study has some major ramifications for future study right into exactly what makes people feel happy, and provides people with instant recipes to joy.

An analysis of the outcomes showed that a higher mass of grey matter in the precuneus was linked with greater scores on the happiness surveys. The definition and formula for happiness is still quite blurry, but it might be just a fraction clearer thanks to this study. The team nevertheless stresses that a lot of further study is needed to really grasp the scope of this knowledge.

The Study Finds that Being Happy Comes from the Small Things

People who really feel joy and happiness with intensity have a bigger precuneus – a region in the medial parietal lobe that becomes energetic when experiencing consciousness, the conclusions showed. Psychotherapists have found that emotional elements like these as well as satisfactions of life with each other make up the subjective experience of being “happy”. Research study leader Wataru Sato believes recognizing that mechanism could possibly assist researchers quantify the degrees of joy objectively.

7. Happiness 1

A Larger Precuneus Means a Happier Life

People were surveyed based on the intensity with which they felt emotion, and this data was then compared with MRI images of grey matter of the very subjects. People with larger precuneus were shown to have a higher emotional intensity and are more prone to ‘happiness’. The team went on to explain that the reason the precunus is larger is because it has more circulation of neurons.

Samsung is Selling More Phones but Making Less Money - http://clapway.com/2015/11/03/samsung-selling-phones-making-less-money/

According to details, Samsung has found a way to sell more phones, but in doing so is making less money than in previous years. This seems to be a contradictory statement. However, why is it in fact that Samsung could sell more of their phones, but end up losing money in the long run?

Samsung - Clapway

WHY IS SAMSUNG NOT MAKING MORE MONEY?

Some of you who are reading this article and asking this question to yourself have probably already realized why Samsung is making less money. It’s because in order for Samsung to sell more phones they had to drop the price of their smartphones. According to the numbers provided by data firm Counterpoint Technology Market Research, Samsung has been selling cheaper smartphones and less high-end premium devices than they did in previous years. Counterpoint went on to state, “Samsung shipped 84 million smartphones in the third quarter of 2015 which was more than Apple and Huawei Technologies combined during that same stretch.” That is a very shocking statistic when it is realized that Apple and Huawei are as popular as Samsung. Counterpoint continued by saying that Samsung’s smartphones priced at $300 were making them only 40 percent of their total sales and that now Samsung is shipping around 40 percent of their smartphones at $200. Samsung is sure making their customers happy with less expensive smartphones and they are sure making a lot more, but is it a smart business strategy?

IS THIS SMART?

This question is very difficult to answer and probably requires multiple perspectives. On one hand Samsung is shipping out and selling a lot of their phones and maintaining their already amazing popularity. However, on the other hand giving the numbers by Counterpoint Samsung is losing around $100 per phone that they are selling. As stated previously, customers will probably not complain as they get to buy a Samsung smartphone at a cheaper price. However, the contrary to that is because Samsung cut the price of their smartphones they could potentially make their smartphones with cheaper material and overall less capabilities. This is a question that can be answered several different ways, but one thing that is for certain is that Samsung will remain an elite phone making company that will find a way to stay successful. However, it is indeed interesting to think about where Samsung will be after this.

Swedish YouTube Star Earns $7 Million in One Year - http://clapway.com/2015/07/08/swedish-youtube-star-earns-7-million-in-one-year678/

Swedish 25 year old Felix Kjellberg is probably one of the most famous YouTube stars of the moment. He has over 37 million followers, which is more than Taylor Swift and One Direction. In July 2014 the channel surpassed Rihanna’s VEVO account and became the most viewed channel of all time.

He is known as “PewDiePie” on the video-sharing website and regularly posts videos of him commenting to video games he plays.

In an interview he described his activity as “commenting unpopular and bad video games and turning it into comedy.”

He is also in a relationship with Italian YouTube personality Marzia Bisognin, better known online as “CutiePieMarzia”.

kjellberg earned as much as $7 million

By the end of last year, it was reported that Kjellberg earned as much as $7 million in just one year. YouTube is a very profitable site for it’s biggest online stars mainly thanks to advertisements placed around their videos.

However, many criticized the amount of money he makes by just “sitting on his chair and commenting on video games.”

youtube star criticized for earning so much

The Youtuber, however, replied to all criticisms through a Reddit post and a video he uploaded last Tuesday called “Let’s Talk About Money,” which received 1.6 million views in just under 24 hours.

When addressing the criticisms, the Swedish gamer said: “”Whenever it comes out how much I made a certain year, people just get so shocked. A lot of people are also very, very angry. They think I just sit on my ass all day and yell at the screen over here. Which is true. But there’s so much more to it than that.”

”Money does not make you happy”

He also emphasised that he spent far more money on charities than on himself since his career escalated.

In the video, he also described how during his job selling hot dogs he was the happiest he’d ever been and that “although money matter to everyone, it does not make you happy.”
