Sony Super Battery, Motorola Display, and Apple Design Could Be a Nice Addition to Project Ara - http://clapway.com/2015/12/20/sony-super-battery-motorola-display-and-apple-design-could-be-a-nice-addition-to-project-ara/

Sony is currently working on a way to improve the current generation of lithium-ion batteries. This new super battery is being worked on as we speak, and could be in production within the next five years. This got us thinking how cool it would be to see this super battery apart of Project Ara. Not only this but how the Motorola Display and Apple Design would make Project Ara even better.

SONY ANNOUNCES NEW SUPER BATTERY

This news was announced by Nikkei, a Japanese newspaper. This super battery is being made by Sony to replace lithium-ion batteries. A 40 percent gain in density could be in the making for this battery. The details are very raw at the moment, but that is easy to understand given that this might not be done for five years.

THE SHATTERPROOF MOTOROLA DISPLAY

Now we look at a potential inclusion into Project Ara that is already available to the mass public. The Motorola Display on the Droid Turbo 2 is shatterproof and waterproof. The company actually guarantees that the Motorola screen will not be damaged by impact or water. During their launch, they actually showed a video of the phone being dropped on a cement block. The screen came back unscathed.

THE GREATNESS OF THE APPLE DESIGN

The Apple design on their phones is always great. The latest iPhone is actually built with 7000 series aluminum alloy. This makes it the strongest alloy made in any iPhone.

WHAT PROJECT ARA IS AND WHY THESE THREE ASPECTS WOULD BE A GOOD ADDITION

What this is all getting to is Project Ara. For those of you who have no idea what this is, it is a build it yourself smartphone. This means that you would receive a starting phone with no features, and then put them in yourselves. So, you can put in custom cameras, screens, batteries, and anything else you can think of. This is a project done by Google with help from Motorola. Now, imagine this phone adding features like the new super battery from Sony. How about adding the aluminum alloy design from Apple? Then, it can be capped off with the shatterproof and waterproof display from Motorola. All of these would be a great addition into Project Ara. As a matter of fact, if all companies worked together the world could see the greatest smartphone known to man.

ZenFone Zoom and iPhone 6S could be a nice contribution to Project Ara - http://clapway.com/2015/12/03/zenfone-zoom-iphone-6s-nice-contribution-project-ara/

Google’s Project Ara could end up being the best smartphone of all-time. However, what if iPhone and ZenFone decided to help them? What if all of these companies, instead of feuding, decided to team up and fuse their features to make the ultimate smartphone that could not be topped? There is no doubt that if this would occur it would make Project Ara unstoppable.

WHAT EXACTLY IS PROJECT ARA?

The whole idea to Project Ara is allowing users to build their own phone. This means that all of the nitpicks and complaints that users have for phones would go away. Any problem that a user has they can fix themselves. Google is going to provide the base of the phone and then the users can install the custom components that they want to. Let’s say that a user does not like their screen, or it breaks, they can just buy a new one and install it on the phone. The same thing can be done with a camera, the speakers, the internal storage, etc. Motorola has said that they are going to be combining with Google to provide most of the hardware components.

WHY iPHONE AND ZENFONE SHOULD JOIN THE PROJECT

Both of these companies could provide Google with some of their best features. Asus could allow Project Ara to include their ZenFone Zoom. Asus is advertising their camera as being able to outshine any camera on the market. If Asus is true to their statement, then this ZenFone Zoom would make an unbelievable feature to the Project Ara. Now there is Apple. They are one of the big dogs when it comes to smartphones and having their features to build the ultimate smartphone would only help even more.

APPLE AND ASUS NEED TO JOIN PROJECT ARA

This is a smartphone that the world is dying to see. If all of these companies can bury the hatchet for one project, then the world might receive the greatest phone of all-time. However, the possibility of this happening is probably pretty low. This is considering that all of these companies feud with the others and instead of participating in Project Ara, Asus and Apple will probably try to top it.

PuzzlePhone is A Stolen Idea - http://clapway.com/2015/11/05/puzzlephone-is-a-stolen-idea123/

Finland’s PuzzlePhone is looking crowdfunding to bring the modular smartphone to the market, but the truth is, it’s a stolen idea from Google’s Project Ara. The Project, which started as an idea back until Google and Motorola snatched Dave Hakken and started building what was then called Phonebloks.

PuzzlePhone

PuzzlePhone is looking to profit off of the hype of idea by taking to crowd funding websites. The feud is not new, the PuzzlePhone has tried to bank on Project Ara’s buzz since last year. The differences between the idea interpretations is that, while Project Ara plans to make phones out of interchangeable parts, the PuzzlePhone is more simplistic: it has an interchangeable ‘heart’, ‘spine’ and ‘brain’. The heart is the phone’s battery, the brain is the CPU, GPU, RAM and internal storage, and the spine is the display, speakers and microphone. It’s designed to be sturdy and built from eco-friendly materials. The phone is set to cost around $333 and it’ll hopefully come with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Just based on initial execution, the PuzzlePhone misses the point of the idea. Having every part be not only replaceable but customizable gives Project Ara a better approach and more appeal. Not to mention that by partnering up with Motorola, who provides most parts for the iPhone, it’s guaranteed to be a durable phone that doesn’t sacrifice class for hype.

Project Ara is set to roll out as of 2016, and if the PuzzlePhone reaches its goal, it’ll be hitting donors’s doors the same year.

Project Ara Could Crush the iPhone 7 - http://clapway.com/2015/11/05/ara-project-could-crush-the-iphone-7123/

Speculation about the upcoming iPhone 7 is buzzing all over the web, but Google’s Project Ara could blow the latest from Apple straight out of the park. Google’s Ara Smartphones and Apple’s iPhone 7 are rumored to be released in 2016, but the clear different in specs puts them in very different sides of the market.

Rumors circulating the iPhone 7 assume that the phone will be closer in size to the iPhone 6/6s in size, though it’s expected to look very different from the past models and to be thinner than ever. Screen resolution improvements are possible since Apple failed to deliver its promise of mind-blowing HD in the iPhone 6 series, along with harder screen material. The iPhone 7 is also rumored to come with the ability to charge wirelessly.

However, Google’s Project Ara could put a serious hole into Apple’s profit. The initiative takes a build-it-yourself approach to smartphones, where Google provides a simple grey phone to users and they design everything else. The project, done in collaboration with Motorola, will allow users to turn phone parts into building blocks, and they can make their own smartphones according to their preference. Motorola, who also makes most parts for the iPhone, will combine with Google to provide parts like speakers in varying sizes and levels, medical devices, receipt printers, laser pointers, night vision sensors and even game controller buttons that can be slid in or out of the basic mold. The Project Ara smartphones are set to even be able to swap parts and keep the phone on.

All in all, this promising project will be coming out neck and neck with the iPhone 7, and Apple may finally be dethroned from being one of the top selling phone companies in America.
