HP"s Response to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4: The Elite x2 1012 - http://clapway.com/2015/12/04/hps-response-to-the-microsoft-surface-pro-4-the-elite-x2-1012

HP has been on the decline lately. In their latest numbers that were posted for the final quarter, it was revealed that their PC sales have dropped off 13%. Their notebooks have not done well either as they have dropped off 8%. Microsoft released their Surface Pro 4 and it was competing with them. It sounds like they will try to best Microsoft with their latest Elite x2 1012 2 in 1 tablet.

THE HP ELITE X2 1012 HAS FEATURES THAT THE MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO 4 DOES NOT HAVE

Before the advantages of the Elite x2 are stated, there are two big aspects that the Surface Pro 4 has over it. It has a higher resolution of 2736 x 1824 while HP’s device has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It also has a more powerful processor with i5 and i7 dual processors. However, the advantages end there for the Surface Pro 4. HP stated that their device was made with aluminum while the Surface Pro 4 is not. They also stated that their device will offer an LTE wireless connectivity option along with vPro technology. The integrated technology provides more security features for the BIOS.

HP AND MICROSOFT 2 IN 1 TABLETS ARE SIMILAR IN SOME WAYS

HP has announced that their device will cost $899, which is the same price as the Surface Pro 4. Also, ironically enough, both of these tablets have the same operating system. The Elite x2 is set to have the Windows 10 OS, which is what the Surface Pro 4 has. The reason why this is ironic is because Microsoft is the one who created this operating system. HP is competing with them with their latest device, but it has Microsoft’s operating system on it.

WHEN WILL HP RELEASE THEIR TABLET?

They recently announced that their plan is to release the Elite x2 1012 in January of 2016. This would mean that next month it will be available for the public. It will be fun to see how many of these they sell, and if their plan for it to defeat Microsoft’s Surface Pro will come to fruition.

Docs on iPad Pro Worse than on Surface Pro 4 - http://clapway.com/2015/11/23/ipad-pro-is-definitely-better-than-surface-pro-4123/

Google Docs has proven to be a faulty app on both the iPad Pro and the Surface Pro 4, but the Surface Pro 4 has a few things at its advantage. The iPad Pro Google Docs app doesn’t match case during a search, cannot insert links or pictures and can’t find and replace. There’s limited formatting options, but at least it allows for typing and offline access.

Google Docs On the Surface Pro 4

Google Docs on Surface Pro 4 doesn’t have autocorrect, nor does it capitalize the first letter of a sentence. All in all, owners are better off getting an additional keyboard for both tablets, as this will probably give them the best experience on any writing platform. However, it’s much more viable for use than the iPad Pro. The entire platform is better suited, and doesn’t have the pesky formatting limitations that the iPad Pro has. Most reviewers, both Microsoft and Apple fanatics, are leaning more towards the Surface Pro 4 when it comes to using Google for Work Apps.

Apple Will Have to Introduce Specific Office Apps to Win Favor

Reviewers also suggest Apple releases their own line of office apps, hopefully, an upgrade from Keynote, Pages and Sheets in order to appeal for a business environment. Despite the fact that Tim Cook himself said he travels only with the Apple Watch, iPad Pro and iPhone, these devices are not yet well suited for work.

The first 150 guests will receive goodie bags with exclusive themed gifts, and coffee, snacks and drinks will be served all day. Guests will have the chance to win a series of prizes. Special appearances by Andreas Price, Silane Berkajov and Anja Nolte can be found in the Surface Pro 4 devices in the exhibition. Staff from Microsoft will be available to showcase the devices, and guests will be able to have an exclusive first-hand look at the new device.

The new Surface Pro 4 has a screen of 12.3″ and Intel Core M3, with i5 and i7 6th generation processors. It runs about 30% faster than its predecessor and 50% faster than the Macbook Air. Its battery can go for about 9 hours on a single charge. It comes with Windows 10 and can fully function as both a tablet and a laptop. The extension of the sale of the new Surface Pro 4 to Germany opens up a new source of feedback and revenue for Microsoft.

Microsoft"s Surface Pro 4 has Officially Launched - http://clapway.com/2015/10/27/microsofts-surface-pro-4-officially-launched/

Microsoft’s newest PC, the Surface Pro 4, has finally arrived and will debut with the Windows 10 operating system. The Surface Pro 4 has several different options to choose from for processor, memory, and hard-drive space.

What is the Surface Pro 4?

The Surface Pro 4 will be one of many new computers released in the future to use the new Windows 10 operating system. The Surface Pro 4 is a computer that can be used as both a PC or a tablet given its detachable keyboard. It will also come with a bigger screen, higher resolution, and reportedly a better keyboard than its predecessor.

According to details, the screen of the Surface Pro 4 will be 13.5 inches wide. The Surface Pro 4 is available at Microsoft’s website and they give a great amount of customization for their device. Per Microsoft’s online store, Microsoft offers three different Intel Core Processors; the Intel Core M3, the Intel Core i5, and the Intel Core i7.

They also offer RAM capacities of 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB. The last thing the Surface Pro 4 offers via customization is various hard-drive storages. 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB are the options for the amount of hard-drive storage desired. The higher processor and the higher storage and memory space will obviously increase the price. On Microsoft‘s website, the price ranges from $899.00 to $2,699.00 based on what the user chooses.

Microsoft’s Future is Bright

Microsoft was working on their new Windows 10 ever since they released the very controversial tablet-like operating system that was Windows 8. No, Windows 9 does not exist and apparently Microsoft wanted to skip 9! With the Surface Pro 4 having this new operating system and all of the other features there is no doubt that this computer should sell like hot cakes.

Also, the way that companies like Microsoft work it can be rest assured that they will try and fix whatever potential problems arise from the Surface Pro 4 on their new device in the future. This is not to say the Surface Pro 4 will fail, but the day a device is released without any problems will be the day that pigs fly. That is just the way it goes with technology, however by the looks of it, the Surface Pro 4 will no doubt be a tremendous success and launch Microsoft into the new millennium.
