I imagine that being a celebrity isn’t easy. I mean, it has to be a hard life of having copious amounts of money and getting the special treatment that A-List celebrities get. All sarcasm aside, it seems to be that “conscious uncoupling” is becoming a trend among younger celebrities, although we have always seen a pattern in the coupling/divorce/coupling/divorce between them.
We’ve seen this repetition in various celebrities, from J-Lo and her previous slew of husbands to model Christie Brinkley, who wears a swimsuit better at 59 than she does a wedding ring. Even Kim Kardashian, as we all know, has been through her share of men. It’s rare that we see celebrities marry and stay that way, however, there are those few like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson or Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. The Unicorn that is a stable Hollywood marriage does exist…somewhere!
You would think that it wouldn’t be difficult for a celebrity to find someone without any assistance, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for everyone. Notorious hookup app Tinder has changed the dating game, not only for the rich and famous but for us normal people, too! Now, Tinder for celebrities is a real thing!

Next time you swipe through the various faces on Tinder, you might want to pay a little more attention to that face you’re thinking of saying “no” to. It quite possibly could be a celebrity who is trying their luck in the normal world.
Tinder Verifies Celebrity Accounts
Now, Tinder has officially verified accounts that belong to celebrities. Other verifiable accounts include “notable public figures,” and “athletes.” While Tinder is an already famous app, it is sure to get an influx of subscribers who just want the chance to meet someone famous. You will recognize that the accounts are verified just as they are on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. There will be a little badge on the accounts pledging that they are who they say they are, and this is only one of several redesign features of the infamous app.
I know this news will make my single friends incredibly happy to hear this, which is why I’ll be sharing it immediately! If Ryan Gosling or Dallas Green were single, I’d be on the app in a heartbeat, swiping away until I found their beautiful faces!
Of course, as a married woman, I would just be doing it for research purposes and not to be close to these beautiful, famous men. It’ll be interesting to see how this Tinder for celebrities angle changes the dynamic between the A-Listers and their fans.
