PC Users Can Now Play the PS4 with the Remote Sony Play App - http://clapway.com/2015/11/27/pc-users-can-now-play-the-ps4-with-the-remote-sony-play-app123/

Whoever decided to come up with the idea of playing the PlayStation 4 via a personal computer is a mastermind. Unfortunately, this mastermind was then immediately trumped by Sony when they officially announced two days later that they would be releasing the official Sony Play app.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR PC USERS

This is a huge deal for any users who currently do not have a PS4 and who do all of their gaming on PC’s. It is no secret that PS4’s are not exactly cheap and not everybody wants to spend $300 on a gaming console. This new Sony Play app would allow PC users to be able to get in on the fun and start playing the best PS4 games. Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida was the one who broke the news of their reported work on the app. Yoshida has not yet announced an official release date for the app, but he did confirm that Sony has already started working on it. This is also a huge revelation for Sony, as this will no doubt expand their already enormous popularity. PC gaming is extremely popular in the society today and a lot of people prefer it over console gaming. I guess Sony might have asked themselves how PC gamers would feel if console gaming infiltrated PC gaming. This might not be the case, but it sounds reasonable enough. Anyway you slice it, this new Sony Play app should end up being a tremendous success.

SORRY TWISTED, SONY TRUMPED YOU

The developer behind the original, unofficial app is named Twisted. This could not have been worse news for Twisted since he was apparently charging $10 for the app. It is safe to say that after Sony announced this news, Twisted’s days of making a profit from their unofficial Sony Play app is over. Twisted went on record as saying that the motivation behind this app was purely economic. Twisted might be down right now, but one thing to remember is they just made Sony, one of the most illustrious companies in the world, one up them. To ever say that you are somewhat responsible for Sony unleashing a new app to trump yours is amazing. Sony may have just stolen Twisted’s thunder, but fans will soon have access to PS4 games via PC’s, and Twisted should be given some credit for that.
