Ten Toyota Family Learning Programs are celebrating National Family Literacy Month, proving that a strong support system helps families excel. The programs will focus on the impact of family on a child’s education and the prospect of their success and well-being.
Toyota Teaches the Whole Family
Toyota is making an example out of what automobile makers should advertise. In cars, they ensure safety, and at home, they ensure that children get a good education to secure a better future. These two things go hand in hand for the car maker. The programs will organize food drives and collect items for refugees, and have in the past spent over 17,000 learning together. Families across 10 US cities were able to learn and do together, showing the world what a truly positive program is.
Ford Launches Dog Safety Program
While Toyota focuses on family well-being, Ford is focusing on man’s best friend. They’ve released a campaign promoting dog safety in Ford vehicles. While not as important as education, this adds a layer of humaneness to Ford. In a new press release, Ford shares the Dos and Dont’s of having your furry buddy on the front or backseat of your car, and takes you through the process of making sure your dog is always safe while inside the vehicle
Ford Dog Safety vs. Toyota Family Learning Program
In terms of relevance, education is the source of a big chunk of our knowledge. What children and parents learn from all manner of subjects has a direct impact on how children grow and how parents evolve, and it takes precedence over animal safety. Should the Ford program be eliminated? No, as pets are also a huge part of a sense of community, and teaches families about humaneness, compassion and responsibility.
