Pebble Time Stealing Apple Watch Features - http://clapway.com/2015/11/25/pebble-to-steal-iwatch-features123/

Pebble announced a brand-new enhancement to its Voice control function on the Pebble Time smartwatches. The brand-new update will allow iPhone users text from their watches.

Pebble Time Introduces Text Reply for iOS

The new Pebble Time feature is named as “Text Reply for iOS.” The replies will be sent out through Voice Control. There is also an alternative of choosing to reply from a number of already available predetermined suggestions.

The Pebble Time already has this attribute available for Android users, and it just rolled out onto iOS users. The update is restricted to AT&T consumers only, for now. Pebble has revealed that the new function will soon be assisted by various service providers.

Text Reply Works with Voice Control or Pre-Determined

Pebble Time users will have to upgrade your Time iPhone app to version 3.4 or above. Upgrade your smartwatch’s firmware to version 3.7 or above. Then visit the iOS app, go to Menu > Settings > Actionable Notifications to schedule Text Replies. Then follow the setup instructions. When the setup is finished, the notifications will be received from the Messages application.

Pebble Time is Getting One Up on the Apple Watch?

Users have the option to reply with voice or a list of pre-set answers. The effectively sent out voice determined replies will not appear in the iOS messages app. The reply is sent out as an SMS through AT&T directly.

Has the Pebble Time been trying to get at some of the Apple Watch’s features? The watch is fairly popular among smart watch users, and it’s surely measuring up for the Apple Watch, which is the number one trend in wearable electronics.
