Final Fantasy 7 Cloud is "Gay" for Super Smash Bros? - http://clapway.com/2015/11/14/final-fantasy-7-cloud-is-gay-for-super-smash-bros123/

Nintendo Direct, among many other announcements, declared that Final Fantasy 7’s Cloud Strife will be joining the team of playable characters. The announcement of new characters for the saga is always a cause for cheer from fans of both Super Smash Bros and Nintendo; previous announcements included Pac-Man, Xenoblade Chronicle’s Shulk and CapCom’s Megaman.

Final Fantasy 7’s Cloud Looks Classic as Ever in the New Super Smash Bros Wii U

In the reveal trailer, Final Fantasy 7’s Cloud looks much like he has before: blond hair, stage gear and his signature buster sword, and his gameplay is very fitting of the character. The trailer makes great references to Final Fantasy 7 recreated naturally in Super Smash Bros play. This is a signature move by Nintendo, who’ve done the same throughout all game reveal trailers.

Along with Shulk, Final Fantasy 7’s Cloud is perhaps the most surprising character reveal for Super Smash Bros, but it’s very welcome.

Final Fantasy 7 Meets Super Smash Bros

Final Fantasy 7 was first released January 31, 1997, and this is not Cloud’s only appearance in 2015’s video games. Cloud is also making an appearance in Kingdom Hearts and the upcoming Final Fantasy. There’s no word on release date on the game or the availability of Cloud’s amiibo, or even the Midgar stage. Nintendo is good at keeping tight-lipped on things like content and pricing, but as 2016 progresses, more info is bound to come along.

Pokken Tournament Brings Mewtwo Back to Life - http://clapway.com/2015/11/13/pokken-tournament-brings-mewtwo-back-to-life123/

The latest Nintendo Direct shows footage of Shadow Mewtwo in a new Pokken Tournament trailer as well as the best loved Pokemon coming back to life. Shadow Mewtwo was first introduced last week in the Halloween add-in for arcade versions of Pokken Tournament, and he was confirmed by Nintendo to be included in the roster of Pokemon to be a part of the Wii U version of Pokken Tournament.

The Latest Pokken Tournament Trailer Has Mewtwo Mega Evolving

This new trailer gives players the scope on the grandness of the upcoming game, set to hit stores in 2016. The Wii U version of the game is set to include a Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card, which can be unlocked within Pokken Tournament immediately.

The Pokemon franchise seems to be undying; whenever it feels like they’re disappearing from the mainstream media, the smallest thing happens and they’re back in the saddle. The franchise has seen an anime series, video games, playing cards and a slew of other merch, and Pokken Tournament is sure to bring the beloved character to life in a new, exciting way.

Pokken Tournament Available in Spring 2016

Currently, gamers can access Pokken Tournment at Dave & Buster’s arcades in the United States, and the game is set to come for Nintendo’s Wii U in the Spring of 2016. Hopefully, more Nintendo Direct conferences will reveal more details about Pokken Tournament as next spring rolls around.

Nintendo Direct: 8 Games Expected to be Discussed - http://clapway.com/2015/11/12/nintendo-direct-8-games-expected-discussed/

According to Nintendo, they are holding their Nintendo Direct stream on November 12th at 10:00 PM GMT/23:00 CET. Nintendo’s new president Tatsumi Kimishima, former president Satoru Iwata tragically passed away earlier this year, was the one who announced this stream and rumors across the web have indicated eight games that will likely be discussed.

THE GAMES EXPECTED TO BE DISCUSSED AT NINTENDO DIRECT

One important aspect to be pointed out is rumors across the web have indicated that the Nintendo NX, Nintendo’s newest upcoming console, will most likely not be talked about. Nintendo has said in the past that they are still focusing on the Wii U and the 3DS and that the NX will not be further commented on until E3 in 2016. However, the games that are being rumored to be discussed should make this stream well worth it. There are four Wii U games and four 3DS games that could be in store for the stream. The Wii U games include: Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival, and Star Fox Zero. The 3DS games include: Mario & Luigi Paper Jam Bros., Hyrule Warriors Legends, Fire Emblem Fates, and Yo-kai Watch. If all of these games do indeed get touched on in the Nintendo Direct stream, then this stream cannot be missed any Nintendo enthusiasts.

PATIENCE FOR THE NX

All Nintendo fans around the globe all want more information on the Nintendo NX, but patience is a virtue and Nintendo Direct will reportedly not be covering it. Nintendo is doing the right thing and still paying attention to the Wii U and 3DS. It needs to be remembered that the Wii U was only released 3 years ago and cannot afford to be completely abandoned already. If Nintendo released too much information about the NX then it can be assumed that they are giving up on the Wii U. The 3DS will no doubt remain popular because it has not had the hate that the Wii U has had. It is understandably hard to remain patient about Nintendo’s newest console because they have always made top-notch products and the thrill of a new console cannot be replicated. However, the games that are rumored to be talked about in the Nintendo Direct stream should more than make up for the time it will take for Nintendo to talk about their NX.
