A Canadian model by the name of Paul Masson has taken the guise of Fashion Santa, dressing up in Christmas colors and striking a pose for holiday cheer. He looks great, and has garnered much attention from the internet. Surely enough, ’tis the season!

Fashion Santa is the New Holiday Aesthetic
The man was hired by Yorkdale Mall, located in Canada, to bring a different flavor to what people usually associated with the figure. He sports perfectly white hair and a beard, rocking outfits that you’d never imagine on the old man in the red suit. Rosy cheeks become sharp cheekbones, and the plump body is completely replaced by a summer bod clad in full suits.
It’s Not All Looks, It’s Also For Charity
The Fashion Santa campaign is raising awareness for the SickKids Foundation, and the mall will donate $1 for everyone who takes a selfie and posts it on social media with the hashtag #YorkdaleFashionSanta.
There have been similar campaigns made in the past, but this is the one to take advantage of a figure like Santa Claus, make it trendy, and use it for good. The fundraiser is timed perfectly too, as Christmas brings out the good in everyone.
Will Other Countries Take this Trend?
It’s possible that we see something like Fashion Santa coming out in the US or in Europe, as this is sure to catch on. Other campaigns featuring Disney Princes and Princesses or Villains have been done in the past, and it catches the attention of all ages and from all walks of life. This trend is always an exciting one, and it’s natural that it trends on social media.
We may see a Fashion Easter Bunny in the future, or even a Fashion Cupid. The campaign would be very versatile, and if it’s attached to a good cause then it will be even more popular.
